des/dev/moms - where are you?
It’s been a long time since I’ve blogged anything, but before I start my day of work, I think I need to get this down on tumblr.
Where the heck are all the moms out there? The web designer or designer/developer moms? The ones earning income AND raising their kids?

Interactive Something-er-other at NYS Fair
Ok, here’s the thing.
I (my company) has the opportunity to occupy a booth in the Center of Progress building at the New York State Fair this September for one day. That’s 12 hours - 10am to 10pm. The booth is supposed to be interactive.
What to do? I need your input. You work in the web (or design) industry. We’re talking interactive and progress here. What would you do?...

Weirdness in Expression Engine.
The text should say something like, “xx posts in xx categories have generated xx comments.”
Including the post you’re reading, the weblog called blog (I know, right) has 5 posts, 6 categories, and 22 comments (mind you, this is all in experimental phase right now).
My solution spits out 5 posts, 6 categories, and 5 comments.

Teachable Moment
I strong armed my big sister into joining twitter today. She is @alisonpetsky and you should follower her. Originally though, she signed up with a twitter username that made no sense. It didn’t represent her at all, from a branding or personal perspective.
